The Fiji National University Students’ Association (FNUSA) is wishing our Prime Minister a very speedy recovery.

The association are praying for his safe return of PM Voreqe Bainimarama as the leader of our nation. The association, as a representative body of a large number of Fijian youths are concerned at some of the rumors and negative comments being made about the Prime Minister’s health, including reprehensible comments made by the New Zealand media along with the local media.

Association President Ketan Lal has encouraged Fijians to continue showing the Bula spirit which they are known for, and to avoid spreading such disheartening messages on social media.

“As Fijians, we must always aspire to embody good over evil, and wishing ill on anyone’s health is a very evil act and not at all in line with Fijian culture. Fijians are good people, and as good people, we would like to wish the PM a very speedy recovery and pray for his safe return. It is unfortunate that people would propagate such information.”
