The Fiji National University’s West Campuses are anticipating a successful 2023 Open Day.

Head of Namaka Campus, Rusiate Vakaloloma shared that he was excited to have Namaka Campus host its very own Open Day as it was after a lapse of six years.

“On Friday, 6 October 2023, all the staff and students are looking forward to host students, parents and members of the Nadi community at the FNU Open Day in Namaka Campus,” said Mr Vakaloloma.

“It has been six years since we had an Open Day in Namaka and everyone is excited.

“We will open at 8.30am and go until 6pm for working students and the community.

“It is also positive in that the location is central and accessible.”

Head of Ba Campus, Niraj Dharmendra confidently shared that this year’s Open Day would be bigger and better than previous years.

“I want to extend an invitation to all secondary schools and parents in the West to visit our booth at Natabua Campus. Staff and students are looking forward to the Open Day by preparing projects that will be displayed by different departments,” said Dharmendra.

“The FNU Ba Campus is the only campus in the West that provides programmes both under the College of Engineering, Science and Technology (CEST) and the College of Business, Hospitality and Tourism Studies (CBHTS).

“We are also in discussion to bring the College of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (CAFF) to Ba Campus next year.”
