Footbridge Brings Relief To Farmers

Residents of Wainivakasoso Settlement in Lautoka can now safely cross the only creek separating them from the city centre.

A new footbridge saves them from a two-metre fall.

The district advisory counsellor in the area, Josua Vatunitawake, has been supervising the construction of the footbridge.

He said residents had been strug­gling for a long time to access their daily needs.
