Forgive Others And Celebrate Eid With A Clean Heart: Alim

Eid is not about wearing new clothes or making sweets, but its more about uniting the nation with love, care and for­giveness.

Fiji Muslim League head priest, Maulana Abdul Alim said giving Eidy (gift) to each other and giving out the Sadaqa al-Fitr to the poor and needy is what Muslim brothers and sisters should do so that poor families can celebrate Eid in hap­piness.

“Eid is celebrated by every Mus­lims around the world since Mus­lims has been fasting for the whole month and are very much happy to celebrate Eid with the open arm by sharing their love and prayers on Eid day,” he said.
