Former Lautoka Mayor, Opposition MP Dies
Mr Hussain had represented the National Federation Party for the Lautoka Constituency in the Oppostion during the Rabuka government.

Former Lautoka mayor and Member of Parliament, Ali Ayub Hussain, has passed away at 82 years of age.
After a long spell of ill-health, he passed away last Thursday at Waitakere Hospital in New Zealand and was buried at Manukau Memorial Gardens on the same day.
Mr Hussain had represented the National Federation Party for the Lautoka Constituency in the Oppostion during the Rabuka government.

During the course of his illustrious career, he had held various positions in the Fiji Sugar Corporation and served the Lions Club.
Mr Hussain was well-respected in society for his involvement in community service.
He is survived by his wife Khairul Nisha Husain, their three children and six grandchildren.
The family reside in Auckland, New Zealand.
