Former Navuso Student Trial Starts Next Week
It is alleged that Tamanikaisau, while he was a student at the Navuso Agriculture School, murdered Satya Pillay on Qiolevu Road and robbed him of his Nokia button mobile phone and $15 cash, on September 26, 2021, at Nausori.

The trial of a man, who allegedly robbed and killed a taxi driver in Nausori in 2021, will start next week at the High Court in Suva.
Noeli Jack Tamanikaisau appeared before High Court Judge Justice Daniel Goundar.
Tamanikaisau is charged with one count each of murder and of robbery.

It is alleged that Tamanikaisau, while he was a student at the Navuso Agriculture School, murdered Satya Pillay on Qiolevu Road and robbed him of his Nokia button mobile phone and $15 cash, on September 26, 2021, at Nausori.
It is also alleged that Tamanikaisau on the same day dishonestly appropriated a silver-grey Toyota Probox taxi registration LT 2423 valued at $23,000, car keys for the taxi valued at $150, groceries valued at $20.30, taxi meter valued at $300, and taxi registration number plate valued at $13.75.
Trial is set for August 1 to August 11.
Tamanikaisau has been further remanded in custody pending trial.
