Former PM Labels Questioning By CID A ‘Political Harassment’

Former Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has labelled his continuous ques­tioning by the Criminal Investiga­tions Department (CID) as political harassment and witch hunt.

Mr Bainimarama made the com­ments after another round of ques­tioning by the CID personnel yes­terday.

Mr Bainimarama was questioned in relation to another allegation of abuse of office.

Voreqe Bainimarama was ques­tioned by detectives at the CID headquarters in Toorak, Suva, in presence of his lawyers Devanesh Sharma and Gul Fatima.
