Former Principal Laid To Rest

The late Ratu Amani Delana Racule spent most of his life devoted to the education of many children in Fiji.

Ratu Amani, 81, died on Monday after he suffered a short illness.

He was school principal of many prominent schools in Suva including Suva Grammar School and Ratu Sir Lala Sukuna Memorial School.

Jone Batiwale said that Ratu Amani was the principal of Ratu Sukuna Memorial School when he began secondary school education in 1983.

The late Ratu Amani was laid to rest in his village, Matamaivere, Namara in Tailevu yesterday.
