More than 400 families in Cakaudrove received gift hampers from the Savusavu Community Foundation yesterday.

Women of Nacekoro Village in Cakaudrove received sewing machine from Savusavu Community Foundation on December 23, 2022.
More than 400 families in Cakaudrove received gift hampers from the Savusavu Community Foundation yesterday.
The gift hampers consisted of basic food items, toys and sporting goods for children. The foundation spent about $30,000 in the initiative.
Not only that, the foundation distributed sewing machines to women’s clubs in the 10 villages of Cakaudrove.

Savusavu Community Foundation chairperson Ken Barasch said their aim was to assist the unfortunate so that they could have something for Christmas and also prepare for the back to school shopping.
