FRA Reports Asset Theft

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) is calling on the members of the public to be vigilant at Labasa, Nabouwalu and Savusavu intersections in Vanua Levu after batteries from solar street lights went missing.

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) is calling on the members of the public to be vigilant at Labasa, Nabouwalu and Savusavu intersections in Vanua Levu after batteries from solar street lights went missing.

FRA chief executive officer, Kamal Prasad, said some vandals had stolen valuable batteries and the matter has been reported to the Fiji Police Force.

“This unfortunate incident has led to the streetlights not working to their full capacity,” Mr Prasad said.
