The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) will be working with the Suva City Council and the Department of Environment to trim trees and remove rotten trees around Suva.
The authority’s acting chief executive officer Kamal Prasad said cutting and removing trees required proper procedures to be followed.
“One of the things we have to do is make appropriate applications with the Department of Environment, which would then tell us the most sustainable path to follow,” Mr Prasad said.
