“Yesterday I was having breakfast with my family and then we remembered that many families at Soasoa would not be able to go out to buy bread for Easter.
“Then I heard about so many people reaching out to these residents with assistance and I decided to provide bread from the bakery,” he said.
“Since the bakery was established in 2011, we have been supplying free slice bread to the Golden Age Home in Labasa.
“It is a blessing opportunity for us as a company and family to reach out to people in the community.”
The bread supply was handed over to the Police officers stationed about the lockdown area. They then delivered them to the residents.
The lockdown has been in place since April 4, after the first COVID-19 case for Labasa was reported.
