Veremo Peceli Masidole nev­er dreamt this day of free­dom would come for him.

“I am so blessed today,” said the 47-year-old former inmate after he received his Presidential Pardon yesterday.

Mr Masidole was one of the three former inmates handed a grant for pardon by the President of Fiji, Ratu Wiliame Maivalili Katonivere at the State House in Suva.
