Fuel Price Increase Today

The price of kerosene and gas cylinders, which are Value Added Tax (VAT) exempt, have increased.

Today, a litre of kerosene has increased by $0.13 while gas cylinder increased by $1.03 for a 4.5 Kg and $2.73 for 12 Kg.

The Fiji Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC) said local fuel prices for the month were based on imports made by fuel companies two months ago.

• Kerosene - $1.93
• Diesel - $2.51
• Premix - $2.75
• Motor Spirit - $2.87
• New LPG prices
• 4.5 Kg Cylinder - $13.26
• 12 Kg Cylinder - $35.35
• Bulk (Kg) - $2.73
• Autogas (Litre) - $1.91

FCCC said fuel prices in Fiji were impacted by movements in the Means of Platts Singapore (MOPS), international freight rates and foreign exchange rates.
