The Fiji Women’s Crisis Centre coordinator, Shamima Ali, has confirmed that she has not received any reports against President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere on allegations of sexual harassment.
This is amid claims on social media that she has chosen to remain quiet about the issue.
In recent days, Ratu Wiliame has been under the spotlight after allegations of him sexually harassing his female staff members surfaced on social media.

When contacted yesterday, Ms Ali said: “If the victim came to the office, we would take the necessary actions and resolve the issue as soon as possible.
“If it’s the President or the any person with high social status we will act accordingly, the law will always stand regardless those who hold high authority.”
Acting Police Commissioner Juki Fong also confirmed that no reports were received from their end.
Ms Ali said she had read the allegations on social media, but the victim has not reported or approached the organisation yet.
Meanwhile, Ratu Katonivere did not respond to Fiji Sun when this edition went to press.
