Gaji / Grantham roundabout open to traffic

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) is pleased to advise members of the public that the Gaji / Grantham Roundabout is open to traffic after major roadworks.

Works included upgrading the existing as­phalt concrete road into a concrete surface roundabout, installation of safety island and the construction of a roundabout kerb.

There are still some minor works that are yet to be completed, however this will not affect traffic flow. These remaining minor works at the Gaji / Grantham Roundabout will be completed in the next few weeks.

The completed major road upgrading works will improve the quality of the ride for the traveling public and also contribute to more reliable journey times following the full completion of the Suva Arterial Road Upgrade Project (SARUP 01). This first stage of the SARUP works is due for comple­tion in June this year.
