GCC Will Deal With Less Women Representation: Lynda Tabuya

Expressions of discontent about the under-representation of women will be an issue the Great Council of Chiefs (GCC) will have to deal with.

Expressions of discontent about the under-representation of women will be an issue the Great Council of Chiefs (GCC) will have to deal with.

This was the sentiment by the Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Lynda Tabuya.

The GCC event which had reconvened after a lapse of 16 years ended yesterday.

Despite its conclusion many questioned: Why there were fewer women represented in the GCC?

Ms Tabuya said this would be an issue the GCC had to deal with.
