It is a joyous moment to witness how women become mothers as their baby comes into this world.
For Doctor Florecilla Ecube, her journey as the Head of the Birthing Unit at Oceania Hospital has been soothing as well as exciting as she herself is a mom.
The 54-year-old who is originally from the Philippines, is currently practicing as a General Practitioner in the Department of Neonatology and Pediatrics at Oceania Hospitals.

Dr Ecube joined Oceania Hospitals a few years ago and was previously engaged with the Labasa Hospital under the Ministry of Health.
“When I became a mom for the first time, I was ecstatic and scared,” she said.
“I knew that my responsibilities are huge and I prayed for continuous strength to hold me through this amazing chapter of my life.”
