Goundar Shipping Limited has welcomed its first oil tanker MV CAPT-LAI after years of planning to diversify its shipping service.

Goundar Shipping Limited has welcomed its first oil tanker MV CAPT-LAI after years of planning to diversify its shipping service.
The vessel docked at Port Mua-i-Walu, at Walu Bay, Suva, after it sailed from South Korea with a team of eight local seafarers.
Company managing director George Goundar said the opportunity to buy a fuel tanker came as he looked at ways to support local seafarers. The vessel cost more than $5 million.
