Vanua Levu and outer is­lands will not be neglected in the coalition Govern­ment’s development process and budgetary allocations.

Vanua Levu and outer is­lands will not be neglected in the coalition Govern­ment’s development process and budgetary allocations.

This was revealed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Biman Prasad while meeting Fiji Rice Pte Limited and senior agricultural officers in Dreketi last week. Mr Prasad said Government remained committed in ensuring the various sectors that Fijians relied upon for em­ployment and source of income.

“We have a very competent Minis­ter for Agriculture and I am sure, he is looking at some of the chal­lenges and issues within the sec­tor,” he said.
