Governement Priotitises North Development, Reducing Migration To Viti Levu
Vanua Levu and outer islands will not be neglected in the coalition Government’s development process and budgetary allocations.

Vanua Levu and outer islands will not be neglected in the coalition Government’s development process and budgetary allocations.
This was revealed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Biman Prasad while meeting Fiji Rice Pte Limited and senior agricultural officers in Dreketi last week. Mr Prasad said Government remained committed in ensuring the various sectors that Fijians relied upon for employment and source of income.
“We have a very competent Minister for Agriculture and I am sure, he is looking at some of the challenges and issues within the sector,” he said.
