Government Quarters Renovations To Cost $3.4 Million: Alitia Bainivalu

A total of 88 Government quarters will be repaired in the current financial year with an estimated cost of $3.4 million.

This was highlighted on Wednes­day by Alitia Bainivalu, the Chair of the Standing Committee on So­cial Affairs.

While tabling the committee’s review report of the Ministry of Rural and Maritime Development and Disaster Management’s 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 annual reports, Ms Bainivalu said most govern­ment quarters needed urgent re­pairs and maintenance.
