Government To Review Labour Laws, Promote Workers’ Rights And Reinstate Lost Jobs

Fijians are expected to start the New Year on a joyful note with Government promising to prioritise the review of labour laws.

This was confirmed yesterday by the Minister for Labour Agni Deo Singh.

“It is on the top priority list of the coalition Government,” Mr Singh said.

He said it had been given priority as the call for the review on the laws had fallen on deaf ears in the past few years.
