In an effort to maintain COVID-19 safe protocols, stakeholders have joined hands to provide services at Subrail Park in Labasa from this week.
The centralization of both Government and private-sector services will enable people to access services from one location without standing in line for long hours.
One such booth at the park is Vodafone Fiji Limited.
Vodafone Fiji Limited chief marketing officer Rajnesh Prasad said they have been working closely with different Government departments, statutory bodies, and agencies during this pandemic in ensuring its digital and online platforms are used effectively in assisting customers.
He said the core reason for this event was to gather all agencies at one central location for the convenience of customers.
“Vodafone is working closely with the Commissioner Northern’s Office, Fiji Police Force and other Government agencies to help organize the event in ensuring successful delivery of all services to customers in a safe and effective manner,” Mr. Prasad said.
“This centralized event will benefit the people in many ways including:
- People will not need to visit all the different offices for example, the Fiji National Provident Fund, Vodafone, the Fiji Development Bank, and others as all these services will be provided at the grounds.
- The staff and officials of all the agencies will also be there to collaborate and assist customers with their queries for a faster and efficient service delivery.
- This will help avoid the long lines at the different statutory bodies and agencies including Vodafone.
The provision made at Subrail Park is a joint initiative by all stakeholders and is for the convenience of the public.
Acting Divisional planning officer northern Vishwa Deo said the provision of services would continue until further notice.
