Government will thank all the villages in Macuata that helped in the search and location of the ill-fated Cessna 172 aircraft.
The plane and passengers were found on Wednesday in the Delaikoro Mountain ranges.
The Commissioner Northern, Joseva Vocea, said from day one the villagers offered their help and gave information on what they knew about the missing plane.

“At Dogoru village we received the information that gave the lead to Fiji Police and the Republic of Military Force (RFMF) combined search party,” he said.
On the last day of the search, he said, the whole village joined the search and rescue party and it was very heartening to see their willingness and support.
He said a team from the Government would visit the villages to thank them once the investigation was completed.
When contacted yesterday Macuata chief, Turaga-Na-Tui Macuata, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere said he had been advised about the effort to recover the bodies.
