The Grace Road Group has responded to the Ministry of Employment’s statement about breaches of the Employment Relations Act 2007 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1996.

The ministry’s findings suggest that the group did not comply with several legal requirements related to employee rights and workplace safety.

In a statement issued by the ministry, further investigations were being conducted on the issues raised during the inspection on the group.

The group stated that it had not received any notification or information regarding the inspections from the ministry.

“So Grace Road Group is not able to comment on the alleged breaches,” the group said.

Grace Road Group employs over 800 local staff in its various operations throughout Fiji.

The group says it is committed to providing job opportunities to local communities, aiming to support rural development and promote balanced regional economic growth.
