Fiji Police urges parents and guardians to be vigilant of their children's whereabouts
Missing reports of children and teens are becoming a concern as parents and guardians are urged to prioritise their children's whereabouts.
This morning, the Fiji Police Force had seek the assistance of the public in locating 19 year old Sera Marawa, after she was reported missing at the Valelevu Police Station.
According to Police, Ms Marawa was last seen leaving her Nadera home on the 26th of December 2025, and search efforts conducted by her family have been futile.

"Please call Crimestoppers on 919 or the Southern Division Command Centre on 9905 529 if you have any information regarding Ms Marawa's whereabouts," Fiji Police said.
On Christmas eve, a request for public assistance in locating a missing 18 year old was cancelled after the teen was found staying at a friend's house.
In an update by Fiji Police, the 18 year - old Alisha Aanamika Singh was reported at the Valelevu Police Station after the family lodged a report.
The teen has since returned home.
In another case, Fiji Police requested the assistance of the public in locating 14 year - old Ilisapeci Muridakai, who was reported missing at the Valelevu Poilce Station.
"Ms Muridakai was last seen by her family on Saturday 20th December, and all attempts made to locate her whereabouts have been unsuccessful," Fiji Police said.
"Please call Crimestoppers on 919 or the Southern Division Command Center on 9905 529 if you have any information regarding Ms. Muridakai's whereabouts."
Fiji Police has since urged parents and guardians to talk to their children about the importance of communicating their whereabouts.
Fiji Police have called for parents and guardians awareness on situations where children are turning up at their friends home without prior notice.
"Should also be cause for concern for parents or guardians," Fiji Police said.
"Irrespective of whether a child states that he or she has had approval to visit, we plead with adults in the situation, to cross check with the child's parents and guardian as a precaution.
"With a busy night of celebrations anticipated tonight, as we mark the end of another year, we ask that the close monitoring of children and their whereabouts be prioritised."
