There is a need to grow Cul­tural and Heritage Tourism to benefit local communities.

At the same time, preserve cultur­al and historical assets for future generations.

Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation Permanent Secretary, Salaseini Daunabuna highlighted this when signing the Memoran­dum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Trust of Fiji acting chair, Setoki Tuiteci, at the Siga­toka Sand dunes National Park on Tuesday.

This was to mark the Internation­al Day of Forest celebration theme- Healthy Forest for Healthy People.
