Members of the public are encouraged to participate in the public consultation sessions on the electricity tariff rate structure for in-person consultation sessions.
As the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission plans its 21 day consultations, the Commission calls on the public to also submit their views in writing or through FCCC’s online survey during the consultation period.
"FCCC strongly encourages domestic consumers, consumer groups, businesses, industries, government departments, political parties, social organisations and youth representatives to attend the consultation sessions and make submissions," FCCC said in a media statement.
