Yesterday a Royal New Zealand Airforce P31 Orion was tasked to assist the National Disaster Management Office with an initial assessment of damages left behind by TC Harold.

This is part of New Zealand's  Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief following the category 4 cyclone.

The NZ team conducted a flyover and covered the Southern Lau Group, Moala island, Matuku Island, Kadavu, Ono Island and the Southern Coast of Viti Levu.

They returned to New Zealand last night.
