Head Boy Aspires to be a Doctor

Sigatoka Andhra Sangam College head boy Ravidu Rathnaweera is chasing his dream to be a doctor to serve Fijians.
The 15-year-old was bestowed the role during the prefect’s induction on Wednesday and he is ready to take on the challenge.
“I am so enthusiastic about it and I wanted to excel in my leadership capabilities,” he said.

“Trying to adapt to the role of being a head boy as it is something new for me,” he said.
Ravidu was born in Lautoka, in 2008 to Sri-Lankan parents, mum Nayoma Sandayani, and dad Anura Rathnaweera, a chartered Accountant by profession who currently works as the Head of Internal Audit at Tappoo Group of Companies in Sigatoka.
