Head Boy Remembers Late Dad

Faithfulness and gratitude for his faith kept him going. Maleli is a person who doesn’t like his loss to define his current achievements.

Being raised by a single parent is not easy, there are struggles and expectations to meet.

Suva Grammar School head boy Maleli Waqaivolavola said this after being badged last Friday.

Maleli said he felt betrayed when he lost his father when he was only a Year One student and later his maternal grandmother in 2019.

He only wished that his father was still alive to witness the prefect induction ceremony last Friday. It was special to him.
