He said aside from being a professional rugby player, he wants to pursue his education and become a civil engineer.
Prefects of Nadroga Sangam School were reminded that being chosen as a school prefect was not a fluke.
Speaking to the students during the school's prefect's induction ceremony yesterday, chief guest and Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort general manager Peter Hopgood, said they needed to be outstanding and work diligently.

“You have been chosen for your outstanding academic results, your ability to mentor the other students but also have demonstrated a willingness to lead people,” he said.
Rusiate Waqaicece, who was inducted as the headboy, hopes to don the Flying Fijian jumper and make his school proud.
The 13-year-old student said aside from being a professional rugby player, he would like to pursue his education and become a civil engineer.
Originally from Naevuevu Village in Nadroga, he is the eldest of three siblings and his parents work at a hotel along the Coral Coast.
“One day I hope to make it into the Flying Fijians team but at the same time I will also work hard in school so I can achieve my career goal that is to become a civil engineer,” Rusiate said.
He owed his achievements to his parents and all those that supported him.
Rusiate said he was not expecting the school to give him the role because he saw that there were other better students.
“But since the school had chosen me, I will carry out my duty diligently as expected from me, I think they saw something in me that I didn’t see myself,” he added.
He will work with newly-appointed prefects and the school headgirl to uplift the school’s standard.
Headgirl Milinia Finau said it was an honour to lead Nadroga Sangam School.
The aspiring doctor said: “I want to thank teachers and students for putting their trust in me, this is a role that I will need to carry out diligently because I will also be a role model to the 205 students that attend this school.”
