HFC Bank Supports Education For Needy Children

The bank presented $10,000 cheque to the FENC Fiji to help children during the current pandemic.

HFC Bank presented a $10,000 cheque to the Foundation of the Education of Needy Children in Fiji (FENC Fiji) yesterday.

The handover was initiated to support FENC Fiji provide access to education to needy children.

Bank treasurer Umesh Radhika Prasad said this financial assistance was a continued partnership with FENC Fiji, which in line with the bank’s vision ‘Creating wealth for future generations’.

“At this crucial time, we are trying to help those with needs and helping children financially is our priority so that FENC Fiji can purchase their education supplies,” she said.

FENC Fiji financial controller Priya Lata said they were deeply grateful to be associated with HFC Bank and the sponsorship was the financial boost needed to help children during the current pandemic.

“Last year’s financial contribution from HFC Bank assisted a total of 222 needy children across Fiji,” she said.

Ms Lata said education was a solution of reducing poverty and getting financial support would make it possible
