High Education Commission New Name
The Higher Education Commission Fiji (HECF) was challenged to ensure that all higher education institution courses and programmes offered under the Fiji Qualification were benchmarked to the best research practices in overseas countries.

The Higher Education Commission Fiji (HECF) was challenged to ensure that all higher education institution courses and programmes offered under the Fiji Qualification were benchmarked to the best research practices in overseas countries.
Assistant Minister for Education Iliesa Vanawalu made this statement while commissioning the rebranding of the Fiji High Education Commission to the High Education Commission Fiji (HECF) last week.
Mr Vanawalu said the Coalition Government had invested in the quality assurance aspect of the education sector with the allocation of $103.3million for the HECF.
