Hopes and dreams came to an end for Apakuki Tavodi, 35, on Saturday.
The Saweni, Lautoka, resident was allegedly stabbed last Thursday night and later died on Saturday.
According to police, Tavodi was stabbed by an unknown person who fled in a vehicle. Police are yet to identify and apprehend the suspect.

The victim’s younger sister, Selaima Adicuvu, said her brother had gone out with friends last Thursday night and was alleged to have been involved in a fight with a man.
“He did not know that the man had a knife and was alleged to have stabbed him,” Adicuvu said.
She reported that a lady from a canteen nearby called them about an incident involving her brother.
