Government is committed to ensuring prosperity for natural resources owners, said the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry Kalaveti Ravu.
He revealed this while commissioning the rehabilitation project for homes belonging to members of mataqali (clan) Vuka in Macuata, Vanua Levu, last week.
Nineteen homes are scheduled to undergo repairs alongside the building of three new houses for the clan. The project is initiated in light of damage left behind by Tropical Cyclone Yasa in December, 2020.
