Hunt for Suspect Who ‘Stabbed’ Shop Owner
The shop owner said he was stabbed three times on the arm, once behind the ear, had a near miss on the neck, once on the cheek and another on the chin.

A stabbing incident in a heavily populated Nasinu suburb has left residents in a state of shock.
A Nadera shop owner was repeatedly stabbed and robbed in front of his shop yesterday by a man whom Police are now after.
The shop owner, who is recovering from his wounds, said he was doing business for over 10 years and never experienced any hassle from residents of the area.

He spoke on the condition of anonymity for fear of his life.
Bitterly concerned about this brutal act, the Nadera shop owner claimed there was an illegal kava stall situated on the roadside alleged to be selling drugs.

In response to the situation, the Southern Division Taskforce are hunting for the suspect of the aggravated robbery.
Divisional Police Commander South, SSP Wate Vocevoce said the suspect was walking towards his vehicle after midnight.
SSP Vocevoce said the suspect, who was known to Police, stole the victim’s laptop bag containing valuable items.
Investigations continue.
