Hybrid System Proposed

There will be public consulta­tion over the paying method for accessing bus services before a deci­sion on the best way forward for commuters is reached.

This was re­vealed after a question was posed by the Wainunu District rep in Sao­lo Village, Epeli Matawalu, about the challenges faced with the elec­tronic-ticketing system.

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka was made aware of this problem during his tour of the Northern Di­vision.

Mr Rabuka said also heard about bus operators’ proposals on what should be the best paying method to use.
