University of the South Pacific’s (USP) vice-chancellor and President Professor Pal Ahluwalia says he has no vendetta against those involved in his deportation two years ago.
Professor Ahluwalia and his wife Sandra Price arrived in the country yesterday from Samoa and were welcomed by the staff of USP, USP Students’ Association (USPSA), friends and the Assistant Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Sashi Kiran at the Nadi International Airport.
During their deportation, the couple were removed from their home in Suva, driven to the Nadi International Airport and put on a flight to Australia; since then the FijiFirst Government issued a prohibition order against them.
