Fiji Police Force can expect a 'shake up' today as a mourning mother seeks answers from the highest order over the death of her son.
Seraphine Mock, mother of 35-year-old Richard who was reported dead by police, plans to take her case to the human rights authorities, if it comes to that.
Speaking from her family home in Raiwai last night, she called for justice over the death of her son, whose body was reportedly discovered at Nasau, Nadi.

According to Ms Mock, her son was at a drinking party at Wailoaloa, Nadi, where he was reported to police for damaging property. Police later reported him dead on January 18, 2025. He was cremated last Thursday.
"It's been weeks without a word from police," she said.
"I'm picking up the death certificate in the morning and will head to police for answers.
"We need closure and we're not sure about the level of cover up that may be involved."
While police have assured an investigation into the case, Ms Mock was wary after she identified her son's body.
"He had thick bruises on his neck, which suggested he was strangled, his arms and legs appeared broken, as if he was bound and beaten," Ms Mock claimed
"Half his head was black; the coroner said it may have been from an impact of a foreign object.
"I can understand how alcohol can cause people to act out of turn, for which there may be consequences, but certainly not death."
On his first day at the Suva office, Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu said, "I have directed this morning (yesterday) that I need a full briefing about that."
"We will investigate, if there is evidence to implicate, then we'll deal with it," he said.
