Human Rights Lawyer Imrana Jalal has been awarded the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Medal of Honour by the World Jurists Association (WJA).
The WJA awards the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Medal of Honour in recognition of inspiring women jurists who fight to defend and strengthen the rule of law and consolidate society’s advances in gender equity.
Ms Jalal becomes the first woman from the Pacific region, including Australia and New Zealand, to be recognised with this prestigious award.
