Increase In Dengue-like Cases In The Central And West

Increase in dengue-like cases have been noted by the Ministry of Health.

Permanent Secretary Dr James Fong said surveillance systems have recently reported an increase in dengue-like illness in the Central and Western Division with laboratory testing confirmation underway.

"However, I advise that members of the public e on the  alert and health care facilities have a lower threshold for the diagnosis of Dengue Fever, its management and strengthening the implementation of source reduction measures," he said.
