The Flying Fijians broke a 69-year-old drought by beating the Australian Wallabies 22-15 in this morning’s Pool C clash of the Rugby World Cup in Saint-Entienne, France.
The win also kept Fiji’s qualifying hopes for a quarterfinal berth alive.
“This is incredible,” said second-five eighth Josua Tuisova after he was named the Player of the Match.

“I told the boys that we needed to empty the tank since this was our final,” the Racing 92 utility bound player said.
Halfback Simione Kuruvoli kicked over four penalties and a conversion for a total of 14 points while Tuisova scored a try with Frank Lomani kicking over a penalty.
The Wallabies scored two tries to Mark Nawaqanitawase and Suliasi Vunivalu while Ben Donaldson landed a conversion and penalty.
Australia plays Wales next Monday at 7am
