Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, Lynda Tabuya received a visit from the Indian High Commissioner to Fiji, Shri Palaniswamy Subramanyan Karthigeyan, at the Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Headquarters in Suva on January 18, 2023.

Minister Tabuya thanked the Indian Government for its continued support and the ongoing friendship between Fiji and India.

She acknowledged the facilitation of training for rural Fijian women as solar engineers at the Barefoot College in India and the sewing machines donated by the Indian Government.
