Jaden Celebrates Top Marks, Family Support

For Year 11 student Jaden Francis, 16, the Marist Brothers High School Inaugural Academic Excellence Induction was more than just a ceremony. It was a moment of dreams realised and hard work celebrated.
Scoring 366 out of 400, Jaden stood proudly among the first students ever inducted as part of the school’s new tradition under the theme “Academic Champions, Academic Excellence Champions.”
The event, officiated by the Minister for Education, Aseri Radrodro, marked a historic moment for the school and its bright scholars.

“I’ve always believed that success isn’t just about being smart. It’s about consistency, sacrifice, and the will to keep going when things get tough,” Jaden shared with pride.

Jaden credits his achievement to a strict study schedule, support from his teachers, and above all, his family. “My parents are my backbone. They remind me every day that I’m capable of greatness.”
His mother, Anjeeta Francis shared: “He’s always been focused. Seeing him up there brought tears to my eyes. I knew he had it in him.”
His father, Javan Francis, added, “We are incredibly proud. Jaden is setting an example for his younger siblings and showing what Marist spirit truly means.”
Jaden now hopes to inspire others.
“This is just the beginning,” he said.
“I want other students to know that if I can do it, so can they.”
