Japanese Lass, Reina Arai Takes Out The Dux Award For International School Nadi

“We didn’t do the Eighth Year Examination, it’s a different programme, so we follow an International Baccalaureate IB programme. So that’s why we had the examinations at a different time.”

International School Nadi Diploma Year Two student Reina Arai did not expect to receive the dux award on Tuesday.

Upon receiving the top academic student award she accredited her achievement to her teachers and friends.

“It’s so exciting and it’s honestly so amazing. I was not expecting it. So, I feel honored to receive it. I only told my mum about it, so I think my dad was pretty surprised, I didn’t tell him on purpose,” she said.
