Qoriniasi Mau Lutudromu, 69, was with the National Fire Authority (NFA) from January 26, 1976 to 2011.
Yesterday, he was one of the firefighters who were recognised for their service during the centennial celebrations for Fiji’s Fire Service in Suva.
The NFA took over the fire service, which was then operated by the Board of Fire Commissioners of Suva and the Municipal Councils.
