Journalists Undergo Digital Media Training

Journalists in Fiji will benefit from a two-day digital media training organised by the Fijian Media Association (FMA) and the United States Embassy.

Journalists in Fiji will benefit from a two-day digital media training organised by the Fijian Media Association (FMA) and the United States Embassy.

It will also help media personnel improve reporting via digital means while also using social media platforms to expand readership or viewership.

The training began yesterday and ends today at the Novotel Hotel in Nadi.

Among topics covered are the posting of news online on deadline, coverage of live events using social media, brainstorming story ideas, doing a better job of editing stories, and fact- checking.
