The Judicial Services Commission (JSC) will meet Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka, Solicitor-General Ropate Green and former Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) Commissioner Barbara Malimali next Wednesday.
The session is expected to influence the future leadership of Fiji’s anti-corruption watchdog.
Ms Malimali’s lawyer, Tanya Waqanika, confirmed her client had been invited but said no details of the agenda were provided.

Sources say the JSC has not made any decision and is seeking submissions from all parties before taking further action.
A key issue is the appointment of acting FICAC Commissioner Lavinia Rokoika, who was installed by the President on the advice of the Prime Minister. The move has come under scrutiny after the court ruled that Ms Malimali’s dismissal was unlawful.
The meeting is expected to be pivotal, with the outcome likely to set a precedent for senior public office appointments and the balance of power between the executive and independent institutions.
