Judge Convicts Man For Defilement
Justice Dr Kumarage said considering the evidence presented in court during trial, the court convicted the offender for defilement offences.

A man has landed himself in jail for three years after being convicted for defilement of young person between ages 13 and 16 years.
The offender was sentenced by High Court Judge Justice Dr Thushara Kumarage yesterday.
The offender was initially charged and trialed for three counts of rape however, he was acquitted of the charges.
